A few from a session i did in August. Thanks guys for being such great models! Not one complaint from any of them - including Alexander who was a near perfect angel for me.

Damen Knight

Did not want to sleep! we tried and tried, over two days infact! but it just wasnt going to happen. We got lucky for about 5 minutes and i fired off a quick few shots, but the rest we just went with the flow. He has such great eyes and a really expressive face for only 5 weeks, so i was happy to take his lead.

Larissa and Michael - Pregnancy Shots

When Larrissa called me to organise a pregnancy shoot, she said she was free all week but monday would be best because she was worried she might go into labour during the shoot! I laughed and said i can do better than monday, how about the Friday before? So thats what we did, and she had the baby about 4 days later!

Larrissa and Michael were both so easy going that it didnt take any convincing for them to strip off once we went outside. Even tho it wasnt all that warm, they were total pros! (next time i go out to this location with a pregnant woman im hoping it will be really warm, because i have a great water shot i want to try!)

Michael, Bonnie and Levi - Newborn/Family

Little Levi was about 5 weeks old when we did his newborn shoot. This is normally a bit older than i like to do newborn shots - they just dont sleep as heavily by 5 weeks of age, so it takes alot longer to get the shot! Plus the poor little thing gets colic so that didnt make it easy either!

But i truly have endless patience and im so glad, because in the end, even tho it took awhile, we got these great shots. They loved them and i loved taking them.

Kate - Glamour

Kate rang me with the idea that she wanted some "sexy" shots of herself. Nothing vulgar or that she couldnt show her father of course! Just some glamour style photos she could proudly show off.

Steve, Tamara and Blake - Family/Newborn

Tamara had filled me in before the session that she really wanted some "arty" style black and white photos, lots of skin, lots of bub and lots of the three together.

Blake was the perfect age to do these photos- about 2 weeks old. Newborns are best photographed at less than 3 weeks of age, after a feed and sound asleep. This style of photography is difficult when they are awake.

Then a few shots that were more to the grandmas and great grandmas liking!

Aunty Kate popped in for a photo as well!

Colour photography is not something i specialise in, but sometimes the photos are just too perfect not to share!
